As the manager and planner of a nursing home in Otley, West Yorkshire, the main responsibility I face is ensuring our guests are well looked after and constantly enjoy their stay at our residence. Also it’s important that their friends and family members are confident that we are taking care of their loved ones whenever they visit. The majority of our guests are at the age when they are far more sensitive to some things many of us could brush aside and put up with. Staying warm and not feeling cold is one thing that is imperative when taking care of elderly citizens. Unfortunately in some known cases it has lead to them becoming ill and has not helped other symptoms they are riddled with. We were facing repeated complaints from both residents and visitors that the radiators in the common room and each guest room were sub par, which is quite a worrying factor when taking care of the OAP community.

Vertical Designer Radiators
Fortunately we were already in the middle of summer when we received the bulk of this feedback so the radiators weren’t being used a lot, however I was more than aware that I personally would have to resolve this issue sooner rather than later and needed to plan an installation of a considerable amount of vertical radiators. Let me assure you, that for our nursing staff, keeping our residents happy is often an arduous task and attending to a room (let alone a full building) full of cold old people isn’t a joyful experience for either party. It was then that I applied for funding from our directors for a whole new set of ‘vertical panel radiators’. I hold no shame in admitting my knowledge of radiators is very limited and the whole industry surrounding different designs such as vertical radiators is very alien to me. I just had to present a plan to our directors worthy of investment with particular regard to cost management. After much deliberation and searching around the common market like a headless chicken, I was overjoyed to have the ‘Radiator Factory’ recommended to me by my Uncle who had just had a set installed in every room of his house. I trusted him that the models ‘Radiator Factory’ presented should be deemed worthy of purchase. After receiving the go ahead from our directors and convincing them that my plan was well within our budget, I finally decided upon over 150 radiators to be bought and fitted in our institution. Keeping each resident out of their rooms and happy enough whilst having these vertical radiators installed in their rooms was going to require more thought and planning than the Normandy landings, however I’m happy to report that the whole operation flowed with great ease and actually posed less difficulty than we originally thought it might. This was all down to the professionalism and helpfulness demonstrated by the staff at the ‘Radiator Factory’ now we receive little complaints from our residents and their rooms always feel well-heated due to the warmth the radiators are constantly churning out. We’ve also noticed that there has also been a gradual improvement in the general health of many of our inhabitants and more of them actually spend time socialising and watching T.V. in the common room thanks to the vertical radiators. I am yet another customer that can safely advise that if you find yourself having to purchase a vertical panel radiator, please look no further than the ‘Radiator Factory’
